The voice of Ras Bumpa was first heard on the title track of the 2001 compilation "Rastafari For Life".   This project led him to Mt. Nebo Records with whom he has since toured and appeared on Talkin' Roots II.  One of his songs is featured the Natural Dominion album "Time", and he has a Viggo Productions project with Yahwow that is about to be released.

Biography

Hailing from "Deh 2-15" Anna's Retreat, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. emerges a new voice making a joyful noise for the masses.  Several years ago, Ras Bumpa made a decision to express himself musically and has received nothing but love ever since.  After the release of his first single "Rastafari 4 Life", Ras Bumpa has been making waves in Atlanta, Georgia, where he currently resides.   Opening for such acts as Ras Attitude, Batch, Warrior King and Midnite, Ras Bumpa brings a unique and genuine sound that seems hard to resist.  Still fairly new to the music, Ras Bumpa did not hesitate at a chance to try something unusual and different in reggae; collaborating with Viggo Productions and fellow artist Yahwow, manifested the current single "Unjust Incarceration" from the upcoming album "We Will Be Heard".  Even though the track has a hip-hop essence and flavor, the lyrics are still hard-core thought provoking and will please listeners of many genres.  Look out for more positive messages from this "Rock City Youth" and listen for something you may not have heard before.
